What a strange post.

Anyone go to work today?

I have and it's rubbish. No sticker on my chair, no free footballs, no autographs and they tricked me into getting here at 8am. AGAIN. I hate our owners.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
Find it odd people can still have an obsession with certain posters, but then bottled a meet when offered one...

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
I must say the decision to not sign autographs seems odd

Only reason i can think of is that a pre flight training session was planned before they jetted off to Dubai. Otherwise as said below thats the whole reason why the kids go ain't it ?

Fucking hell I'm glad that Muhammad Ali and Bobby Moore never told me that they could not sign an autograph as they were not allowed to.... what other sport do you know that if they have a meet and greet you are not allowed autograph's and pictures.... I don't blame the players here ... I suppose just modern day football eh??

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
The REAL pat of the day in my mind was to have '000s of people there to coincide with the sale in the club shop. That appears to have been confirmed by the answers.

I decided not to go after reading that the players would not be signing.

Kids go to watch the games but on days like tis WANT to get autographs and selfies. Not being able to would have left a lot of them disappointed, only to be consoled by having something bought for them to make up for it.

Good to see an ARSENAL legend like Ian Wright there though.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
As people have said, we were informed that it wouldn't open until 11am and that they wouldn't be able to sign autographs.

I could make a couple of comments under "need to improve" BUT my seven year old boy and his mate loved the day. Which is sort of the point of a family day isn't it? Not whether old farts like me enjoyed it.

I know some of you are interested in this sort of thing so thought I should mention it. Snodgrass really looks like he has settled into the group, really seemed the centre for a lot of laughs and hugs. Not to mention a little bit of mickey taking for being a foreigner.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
Began to think the real purpose of the event was to shift the black Thames Iron Works kit. Bilic was wearing it and before taking that silly photo thing at the end all the players took off their bibs to show that kit underneath. The shop was packed afterwards and that kit was on sale.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
Very poor PR from the club
Did they think the players would injure themselves like their writers. The England cricket team come out at the end of a test and do the honours

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
My mood isn't darkened I've quite enjoyed goading Mike for his tears, an unfortunate consequence is you've piped up but then I've had YEARS to get used to that as you have this weird obsession with me.

No big deals though, you make yourself look a desperate wanker every time you engage me.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
I read quite well that they weren't doing autographs, as I am sure all the other autograph hunters did, but my question was why they banned anyone from the team giving autographs. Cottee managed it ok.

Well, they're both definitely true, so it will be those + whatever else has darkened your mood today.

Probably saw someone smile and it ruined your day, you sour, dour, depressive knob.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
No, neither of those things LOLmas.

Haven't you got a rugby or cricket thread to be on?

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
Oh, I've posted a few times already today Johnson.

I suspect you're just jealous that a) someone went to the OS and had a good time, and b) you're never going to have a family to take to something like that.

Johnson 12:25 Thu Feb 16
Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
This is a thread about West Ham LOLmas, so of no concern to you.

Good to see you're keeping up your high first post of the day about Johnson ratio.

If you want my attention WHOmail you fucking desperate wanker, stop chasing about buddying up with anyone trying to have a go themselves.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
I was passing comment based on the comments on here actually.

Not sure what your beer comment is about, making stuff up to be upset about I expect, probably because you're still teary over missing out on a signed football, you're becoming hysterical.

Don't worry about Johnson Mike, he's just an overweight, bitter country bumpkin who walks around with a rain cloud over his head all the time.

Re: Anyone go to the Family Fun Day today?
But still passing an opinion on something you didn't attend ? Things don't change over c18 months now so they ? So - from your desk - did they run out of beer today? Any catastrophes you can take comfort from ? I took my 3 kids and they enjoyed themselves and we buzzing ... but clearly the club are crap are they ?
